The singer shared a black-and-white photo of herself with her eyes closed, looking despondent, on Instagram after news of his death broke on Dec 9. “Ronnie, you left the world far too early,” she wrote in the caption. “In sorrow I close my eyes and think of you, my beloved son.” Adrienne Warren, who played Turner in Tina - The Tina Turner Musical on the West End and Broadway, wrote, “I love you so much. I just want to give you the biggest hug. I’m so sorry. ❤️,” in response. “Sending love and condolences ❤️,” singer Debbie Gibson said. “So sorry to hear about such devastating loss. Sending love to you and your entire family ❤️,” another follower commented. Ronnie reportedly went into cardiac arrest outside of his home following respiratory distress. When first responders arrived, bystanders were performing CPR, but he was later pronounced dead at the scene. A cause of death has yet to be confirmed, but he was said to have had numerous health issues throughout the years, including cancer. Turner previously lost her eldest son, Craig, to suicide in 2018, as well as ex-husband Ike in 2007.
