What is Haunted By Murder about?
When Aurora Teagarden (Candace Cameron Bure) and her best friend, Sally Allison (Lexa Doig), were teenagers, they entered the infamous “haunted” Crenshaw Mansion on a dare. To their shock, they came upon a dead body in a secret room. Two decades later, Aurora’s mother, Aida (Marilu Henner) has purchased the property with intentions to renovate and flip the house. Aida dismisses the notion that the house is haunted but the more time they spend in the house, Aurora is convinced the dead body they found all those years ago was not the result of accident. Someone—or something—really doesn’t want Aurora, Nick (Niall Matter) and their friends in the Real Murders Club digging into the past because there are a lot more secrets to be found in the Crenshaw Mansion…secrets worth protecting at all costs.

Lexa Doig (Sally Allison)
Sally is a reporter for the local paper and Aurora’s best friend. Doig played the titular character on the Gene Rodenberry series, Andromeda. It was on the show where she met her future husband, Michael Shanks, who was a guest star on one of the episodes. Marilu Henner (Aida Teagarden)
Marilu Henner may be best known for her days on Taxi with Judd Hirsch and Evening Shade opposite Burt Reynolds. But Henner has branched out from acting.
